Kicking Off a New Term: Expanding Horizons at LALIGA ACADEMY Malaysia

April has been a month of steady progress at LALIGA ACADEMY Malaysia, even amidst the academic demands of exam season. Training sessions have continued as scheduled, while maintaining a flexible approach to support our student-athletes. Players who required time off to focus on their studies were given the option to skip certain sessions, ensuring their academic performance remains a top priority.
Beyond the pitch, our programme is forging new partnerships with academies, schools, and organisations—both locally and internationally. These connections lay the groundwork for regular participation in national leagues and international tournaments, marking another major step in our evolution.
Looking ahead, May will see us host the inaugural JSE International Football Festival, a tournament that reflects our commitment to top-tier youth football. The champions of this event will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the “Champions Cup”, where they will compete against winners from other global editions of the festival in Chiang Mai this November and December.
With fresh opportunities on the horizon, we remain focused on providing an elite football environment where our players can thrive, both on the pitch and in the classroom.
