Holman House is named after Sir Constantine Holman who was a member of the Epsom College UK Council for many years and its Treasurer from 1887 to 1906. He was also a preeminent doctor who became Vice-President of the British Medical Foundation and received a knighthood from King Edward VII in 1904. The original Holman House in Epsom College UK opened in 1897 as a Junior House for boys, and includes Air Asia CEO (and Epsom College in Malaysia founder and Chairman), Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, amongst its alumni.

Holman House will open at Epsom College in Malaysia in August 2019 as a Transition House for boys, where it will be home for both day and boarding pupils from Year 6 through to Year 9. The inaugural Housemaster of Holman House is Mr Darren Nichols who joins the College from Culford School in the UK, where he was Housemaster and the Head of Business and Economics. Mr Nichols has extensive experience working in UK Boarding schools, including Gordonstoun in Scotland and Langley School in Norwich. He is a rugby and cricket enthusiast and will no doubt bring his love of sporting competition to the many inter-house competitions Holman will have with their neighbours Carr House this year! Mr Nichols moves into Holman House with his wife and two young sons and looks forward to working alongside both his tutor team and the first Holman boys to establish a successful and happy home for all who walk through its doors.
