Highlights from LALIGA

Over the past few months, we have been working diligently to continue raising the standards of our football programme. Alongside improving the quality of our training sessions, gym work, and specialised goalkeeping development, we have focused on building a stronger competitive structure for our players. As we look ahead to Term 3, we are excited to share an important milestone that will significantly enhance our students’ match experience.

In addition to refining our weekly training methodology and strengthening our physical development programme, we have successfully structured two consecutive editions of the ECM Youth League for Term 3. This will provide a total of 12 consecutive academic weeks of Saturday morning competition against different football academies. The objective is to ensure that our players gain consistent and meaningful match exposure, which is essential for their tactical growth, decision-making, and competitive maturity.

All league fixtures will take place at Epsom. By hosting the matches on campus, we aim to minimise disruption to our students’ routines while maintaining a high-level competitive environment. This structure allows families to plan ahead while ensuring that football development remains balanced with academic commitments.

Finally, we extend our warmest wishes to all families observing Ramadan during this meaningful period.
