Granville House Highlights

As we move through another busy and rewarding term in Granville, it has been fantastic to see the boys continuing to embrace both academic and co-curricular opportunities. From standout performances in competitions to strong representation on the international stage, this has been a term full of achievement, growth, and house spirit that we are incredibly proud to celebrate.

A major highlight has been our success in the Inter-House Debate, where Sachivan K., Vincent W., and Aeiman A. demonstrated exceptional confidence, clarity, and critical thinking to secure victory. Their ability to articulate arguments under pressure was outstanding and reflects the growing strength of public speaking within the house.

In sport, our students have continued to excel. Congratulations to Tsuyoshi M. for being crowned overall winner of the Inters Prestige Aquathon, a testament to his resilience and all-round athletic ability. Our O15 Basketball squad also delivered a strong performance at the AIMS tournament, earning bronze medals, with Bryan W., Yoritaka O., and Chao L. playing key roles throughout the competition. Participation in the Inter-House Badminton competition was excellent, with students showing great effort, determination, and a strong sense of house spirit throughout.

Alongside these achievements, it has been particularly pleasing to see our Year 11 and Year 13 students preparing diligently for their upcoming examinations. There has been a noticeable focus during prep time, with students taking greater ownership of their revision, supporting one another, and approaching this important period with maturity and purpose.

Academically, we also celebrate our Inter-House Mathematics winners: Chao L., JiaHeng T., Jaris A., Minseo C., Zhe T., and Siqin C., who showcased excellent problem-solving skills and determination. Additionally, Yiming H., our Granvillian of the Month, has led a range of creative art projects, contributing positively to the house environment. Additionally, Zinan L. and Chit W. were both recognised as Honours Winners.

It has also been fantastic to see Granvillians representing Epsom internationally in a Singapore U15 Football Tournament. Alexander A. was the team’s leading scorer and was strongly supported by Aoun H., Yu-Lun C., and Yoshitaro T.. The boys demonstrated commitment, resilience, and pride in representing our school.

Overall, this has been a highly successful period for Granville, with students excelling across a wide range of areas. What stands out most is the balance the boys continue to strike between academic focus, co-curricular involvement, and personal development. We look forward to building on this momentum in the weeks ahead and celebrating even more successes together.
