May 2025 was a great month for ECM Golf Academy! Our young golfers won big in state and international events, and our younger students got ready for their first competitions. Here’s what happened!
Winning at MSSNS
On 7–8 May 2025, our students played in the Negeri Sembilan Schools Sports Council (MSSNS), a big state tournament. Adrianna S. (Under-15 Girls) and Afham O. (Under-15 Boys) both won 1st place! Danish J., even with a wrist injury, got 5th place in Under-15 Boys. Great job!
Adrianna and Afham will now play in the Malaysian Schools National Finals in Penang at Bukit Jawi Golf Club from 27–29 May 2025. They’ll represent Negeri Sembilan schools. Let’s cheer them on!
Adrianna Shines at Queen Sirikit Cup
From 13–16 May 2025, Adrianna S. joined Malaysia’s top women golfers at the Queen Sirikit Cup in Miyazaki, Japan, at Tom Watson Golf Course. Malaysia’s team finished 10th in the world! This tournament started in 1979 and includes top women golfers from Asia-Pacific countries. It’s a big deal, and we’re so proud of Adrianna for making the team!
Success at Royal Selangor Junior Invitational
From 20–22 May 2025, Afham and Danish played in the Royal Selangor Junior Invitational Golf Championship. Afham won Best Under-15 Player and got a free trip to the Jakarta Golf Club Junior Championship! Danish, despite his injury, finished in the top 25. Awesome work!
Getting Ready: Golf Rules Class
On 19 May 2025, we held a Golf Rules Class for our younger students. They learned the rules and etiquette to prepare for the Rahman Putra Juniors Monthly Medal on 25 May. Good luck to our future stars!
What’s Next?
May 2025 showed how hard our students work. With support from coaches, parents, and our school, they’re doing amazing things! Let’s keep cheering for Adrianna and Afham at the National Finals and our young golfers at their next events!
