Charity Society Visit to Yayasan Chow Kit

As part of the Charity Society’s ongoing community outreach initiatives, Year 12 students Rui Y., Chaewon L., Yewon J., and I recently visited Yayasan Chow Kit, accompanied by our advisor, Mr Downes. Mrs Parker also kindly joined us for part of the visit before leaving earlier for another commitment.

The visit was a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, as we had the opportunity to spend time with the children at the centre and learn more about the important work carried out by Yayasan Chow Kit.

Funds raised through Charity Society sales at Epsom this year were used to purchase items for the centre, which we brought and donated during the visit. It was especially rewarding to see how the support of the Epsom community could be directly transformed into something tangible and helpful for the children. The visit also served as a valuable reminder of the positive impact that donations and fundraising efforts can have on the wider community.

We hope this initiative helps to raise awareness of the Charity Society’s ongoing work and encourages more members of the Epsom community to support and get involved in future projects.
