Celebrating Year 8 Creativity: Exploring Religious Change under the Tudors at Epsom College in Malaysia

Author: Chantal Thompson
We are thrilled to showcase the exceptional creativity of our Year 8 students, who ended Term 1A with a captivating study of religious change under the Tudor Monarchs. This half-term project had students dive into the fascinating transformations in England’s religious landscape under the rule of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I, and Elizabeth I. With impressive skill and creativity, students brought this turbulent history to life by designing models, creating websites, and crafting innovative visual designs that captured the distinct religious shifts each monarch introduced. From Henry’s split with the Catholic Church to Elizabeth’s Religious Settlement, the students’ work reflects both understanding and artistry, making history vivid and engaging. Look out for the accompanying gallery of their imaginative projects!
