We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Chemistry students in the International Chemistry Quiz (ICQ), a prestigious international competition organised by the Royal Australian Chemistry Institute (RACI) that challenges students to apply their chemical knowledge, scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills beyond the boundaries of the regular classroom curriculum.
The ICQ provides students with an exciting opportunity to test their understanding of Chemistry against participants from around the world. The challenging questions encourage students to think critically, make connections between different areas of Chemistry and demonstrate their ability to tackle unfamiliar problems with confidence.
We are exceptionally proud of our students. Three of our students have achieved High Distinction: Kyi Shinn S., Stephanie H. and Esther L. Two other students, Yi Ro L. and Berlyn T., have received Certificates of Credit.
This is a spectacular accomplishment and reflects not only their strong subject knowledge but also their dedication, perseverance and enthusiasm for Chemistry.
These awards represent a significant achievement for our Chemistry community and demonstrate the high level of academic commitment among our students. We warmly congratulate all of our students on their success and thank them for representing our school with such pride.
