It has been another busy and exciting term for Carr!
One of the highlights was Sports Day, where our students showed fantastic determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of everyone’s efforts and achievements. The enthusiasm and house spirit on display made the event a great success, and it was wonderful to see students supporting one another throughout the day.
We are also looking forward to Move Up Day, when we will have the opportunity to meet the Year 6 students who will be joining Carr. We are excited to welcome them into our community and help them settle into their new House. It is always a special occasion and a chance to begin building new friendships.
At the same time, we will soon be saying goodbye to our Year 9 students as they move on to the Senior Houses. While we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for them, they will be greatly missed. Their contributions, leadership and positive influence have helped shape our house community, and we thank them for everything they have brought to Carr. We wish them every success in this next stage of their school journey.
As we look ahead to the next academic year, there is much to be excited about. We look forward to welcoming new students, creating new opportunities and continuing to build on the strong sense of community that makes Carr such a special place.
On a personal note, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all our students, parents and staff for their support throughout my first full year as Housemistress. Your encouragement, kindness and commitment to our house community have made this a rewarding and memorable year, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a fantastic group of people.
