Agama CCA Charity Visit to Semarak Orphans and Poor Children Welfare Organisation

Agama CCA organised a charity visit to Semarak Orphans and Poor Children Welfare Organisation in Nilai. The visit aimed to develop students’ understanding of compassion, responsibility, and caring for the less fortunate through religious values. Funds were collected through sales at Ramadan bazaars over the past few years. The programme provided students with valuable real-life exposure to charity work and community service.

The visit took place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm and involved both senior and prep students. The participants were Rehan K. (Year 11), Rayyan R. (Year 11), Sheikh U. (Year 10), Dahlia M. (Year 10), Hudhaifa C. (Year 6), Muzna A. (Year 6), Dalilah A. (Year 6), Rizwan K. (Year 5), and Salsabil A. (Year 4).

The programme began with the handover of donations collected through school fundraising activities, including monetary contributions, food items, clothing, and stationery sets. These items were prepared to support the children at the welfare home and to show care and solidarity.

After the donation session, students engaged with the children through storytelling activities and simple traditional games. These interactions created a joyful atmosphere and helped build positive connections between students and the children. The activities also encouraged communication, teamwork, and empathy.

The trip was supervised and supported by Ms Seti, Ms Indah, Mr Chaudary, and Ms Fatin. Their guidance ensured the programme ran smoothly and that students were actively involved in meaningful engagement throughout the visit.

Through this experience, students were able to practise values such as kindness, respect, and responsibility while learning the importance of helping those in need.

Overall, the charity visit was a valuable and meaningful experience for all students involved. It successfully achieved its aims of promoting compassion, responsibility, and positive values. Students gained real-life exposure to community service and developed a greater awareness of social responsibility. The programme encouraged them to continue practising kindness and charity in their daily lives.
