Wells House Highlights

When we opened our doors in January 2026, there was that unmistakable “new house” feeling. Now, at the end of the academic year, we are fast becoming a tightly knit community.

Although the terms have been incredibly busy, they have been filled with endless fun, laughter and a brilliant array of activities. From weekend trips to the mall and baking messy but delicious cheesecakes in the house kitchen, to showcasing some amazingly beautiful (and wonderfully enthusiastic) singing during karaoke nights, we really have done it all!

Over the past couple of months, the atmosphere has shifted into a more focused gear. The girls have been working extremely hard with examinations underway, and revision never seems to stop. I am especially proud of our Year 13 students, Ashley L., Deettyalaxtmi S., Nicole L., Ameera S., and Lisa C., who are currently tackling their A-Level. I have never seen a group of girls revise with as much dedication and determination as these five.

I would also like to give a special mention to Sum W.. Despite missing her home and family this term, she has displayed incredible resilience, continuing with school life with immense strength and determination.

Boarding life can bring occasional challenges, which is why being there for one another is so important. I am constantly impressed by the way Wells girls support each other every single day.
