Holman House Highlights

Holman House has enjoyed a vibrant and successful period, with students embracing both the competitive and community aspects of school life. From impressive performances in house competitions to memorable trips and whole-school events, including performances at assemblies, there has been a strong sense of pride and togetherness across the house.

A particular highlight has been our recent success in house competitions, with Holman winning both the Junior Badminton and Junior Aquathon events. These achievements reflect not only the students’ talent, but also their willingness to step forward, represent the house and support one another. It has been especially pleasing to see such strong levels of participation, with students contributing regardless of experience.

Beyond competitions, our recent house trips have provided fantastic opportunities for students to build relationships and create lasting memories. Year 9 students enjoyed an adventurous trip to Tadom Hills, while our Year 7 and 8 students had great fun challenging themselves at District 21 in IOI City Mall. Back in the house, the positive atmosphere has been clear to see, particularly during the recent Thingyan water festival organised by the Senior School Prefects, where students fully embraced the spirit of the event.

Looking ahead, excitement is building as preparations begin for Sports Day teams. Alongside this, we are very much looking forward to Speech Day and Sports Day, which promise to be key highlights of the term. Holman House is in a strong position, and we are eager to carry this momentum forward.
