This weekend, the U13 netball team, comprising eleven players, travelled to Johor Bahru and Singapore. On Friday, they played a friendly match against Marlborough College Malaysia, which provided an excellent opportunity to trial different position combinations. This valuable practice helped prepare the team ahead of the highly anticipated FOBISIA tournament held over the weekend.
The competition was exceptionally challenging, especially considering that most of the U13 players have only been playing for a few months. Nevertheless, the experience proved immensely beneficial. All players showed significant improvement and gained a much clearer understanding of how the game is played at a higher level. The sportsmanship demonstrated throughout was exemplary, and the Epsom players represented the school with great distinction. The team is already looking forward to returning next year to showcase their progress.
