Super Saturday

On Saturday 7th February, Epsom College Malaysia will host the second instalment of the much-anticipated Super Saturday fixture against Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar (KTJ). This follows on from the fantastic Term 1 event at KTJ, where 16 ECM teams participated in matches that showcased the breadth, ambition, and community spirit embodied within our whole-school sports programme. Sporting fixtures between these two schools are always competitive and spirited, forming a strong rivalry.

Block sports fixtures such as this bring the whole school together around an inclusive and community-driven event. By involving multiple age groups and teams on the same day, this enables more students to participate and provides a consistent platform for our performance teams. Super Saturday is a highlight of our sporting calendar and will provide a vibrant morning of fixtures across multiple age groups and sports. Teams from our Prep School will compete in U11 tee-ball and football, whilst Senior School sports will focus on badminton, basketball, U13 football, squash, and tennis.

Beyond the matches themselves, Super Saturday is about community. Parents, staff, and students come together to support teams, celebrate effort, and reinforce the importance of physical activity and wellbeing. In Malaysia’s year-round outdoor environment, mornings like these encourage students to stay active, connected, and engaged, away from screens and within a positive, social setting.

Super Saturday against KTJ promises to be an exciting and memorable morning of sport, reflecting Epsom College Malaysia’s commitment to participation, performance, and community. We look forward to welcoming families to campus on 7th February to support our students, enjoy the atmosphere, and celebrate the shared joy of school sport.
