This month’s update highlights recent competitive results and ongoing development opportunities for our students. Several academy golfers recorded strong finishes across Sport Excel tournaments, while additional progress was made through an equipment education initiative that supports long-term player development.
At the Sport Excel International held at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, our students delivered consistent performances in a competitive field. Afham O. finished tied for second after a composed showing across the tournament. Tomo K. followed closely, securing a tied third-place finish. Tomo K.’s performance was particularly notable, as he recorded a combined score of three under par (-3) over his final two rounds, reflecting improved consistency and strong closing play.
The academy also saw positive results at the Sport Excel Premier Elite event at Seremban International Golf Club. Afham O. once again featured near the top of the leaderboard, narrowly missing victory to finish second after another steady performance. Adrianna S. added to the academy’s success by securing a top-three finish, continuing her encouraging form in competitive play.
In addition to tournament results, the academy recently received the Mizuno Custom Fitting Bag. This provided students with the opportunity to go through a structured club fitting process, allowing them to better understand which equipment best suits their individual needs. We would like to thank Mizuno for their support and for giving our students the opportunity to trial their latest equipment.
Overall, the past month has reflected steady progress both on and off the course. Strong tournament performances, combined with access to professional equipment fitting, continue to support our focus on long-term development and performance improvement.
