The Golf Academy at Epsom College Malaysia is entering an exciting new chapter with its official transition into GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy. This milestone marks a powerful step forward for student-athletes, combining world-class golf development with outstanding academic foundations. The partnership signals new opportunities, global exposure, and an inspiring pathway for young golfers across Asia and beyond.
The transition into GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy represents a landmark moment for Epsom College Malaysia. As the first partnership of its kind outside the United States to integrate a school and a GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy, it uniquely combines world-renowned high-performance golf coaching with Epsom’s British academic excellence. This collaboration ensures students receive elite technical training, mental performance development, and structured competition pathways, whilst maintaining a strong academic focus that prepares them for life beyond sport.
A key benefit of this partnership is the creation of a clear and inspiring pathway for aspiring golfers across Asia and beyond. Students are supported by cutting-edge technology, proven coaching methodologies, and access to international competitive opportunities. This holistic environment allows young athletes to develop not only as golfers, but also as disciplined, well-rounded individuals ready to compete on the global stage.
In other news, Afham O. and Tomo K. will represent the academy at the Sport Excel International Tournament from 14–16 January, kickstarting a busy year of tournament golf for our academy students. In addition, Danish D. and Afham O. have secured coveted places in the Asian Junior Masters at Black Mountain, Hua Hin, one of the region’s most prestigious junior events. Both students have already begun focused preparations, demonstrating the academy’s commitment to excellence and long-term athlete development.

By uniting elite golf coaching with outstanding British education, the partnership offers a world-class platform for young golfers to thrive. With students already competing and preparing for major international events, 2026 is off to a great start.
