Continued Success From our Students & Exciting Tournament Announcement

The past month has been filled with outstanding performances and exciting experiences for our ECM Golf Academy students. From podium finishes at national tournaments to international representation, our golfers continue to showcase their dedication and progress. In this issue, we highlight some of our standout achievements, recent tournament successes, and a glimpse into what’s next for our ever-growing programme.

We begin by celebrating Afham O, who produced a phenomenal performance at the International Independent Invitational, carding rounds of 73, 64, and 69 to finish an incredible 10-under par. His achievement stands as one of the most impressive performances this season. Adrianna S. continued her fine form, finishing 4th at the SportExcel Premier Elite event at SIGC with scores of 74, 78, and 74, showing excellent consistency across all three rounds.

Danish D. made headlines as well, being crowned Overall Champion at the Sabah Games, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects his continuous growth. Meanwhile, five of our Prep School golfers represented ECM at the Rahman Putra Monthly Medal, where Mei K. (Year 3) and Amber Z. (Year 6) finished on the podium, an encouraging sign of our academy’s strong junior development pathway.

Looking ahead, both Afham O. and Danish D. will be competing from 11–16 November — Afham O. representing Malaysia at the 62nd South East Asia Team Championship in the Philippines, and Danish representing Sabah in their match against Sarawak. Beyond competition, 15 of our students attended the Maybank Championship at KLGCC, gaining invaluable insights by watching some of the world’s best female golfers in action.

As we look forward, preparations are in full swing for our very own ASEAN Junior Championship, hosted at Kota Seriemas GCC from 24–26 November. With a full international field confirmed, we’re excited to host a memorable event that embodies the spirit of competition and camaraderie. Congratulations to all our players on their remarkable achievements, the future of ECM Golf looks brighter than ever.
